This is an easy recipe which only requires a few ingredients and it works with any white, flaky fish
Here’s one of my absolute favorite ways of eating it. It's so very simple.
Cut the fish into serving size pieces.
Brush the fish with olive oil.
Sprinkle lightly with salt, pepper and your favorite seafood seasonings or herbs. Tip: Use a garlic or lemon infused oil if you have it.
In a skillet over medium high heat, add 1-2 Tbsp evoo, 2 Tbsp unsalted butter and swirl around until butter is melted.
Carefully place the fillet in the pan. DO NOT flip the fish until the crispy bottom is set. This only takes about 2 – 3 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fish. Then it’s time to flip!
