Most of us have our own journey to a "healthier lifestyle" that we are either starting, in the midst of, trying to maintain, or haven't figured where to begin.
After a lifetime of yo-yo dieting, I finally changed my THINKING from DIET to achieving a Healthier life, better eating habits and exercising regularly. Cut out as many triggers as possible. I focused mainly on sustainable lifestyle changes that I could maintain long after the weight loss.
Something I haven't been able to accomplish in the pass. I've totally given up on quick fixes and unrealistic plans and contraptions. I'm not knocking anyone's Journey to a healthier lifestyle. I'm not a doctor, nutritionist or trainer. But I am an expert on what works for me.
And if you've been around this space long enough you already know I don't always eat the healthy stuff. Yes, I love the occasional ice cream, cookies, Krispy Kreme and pizza. The difference is, I no longer eat 3-4 donuts in one setting or 3-4 slices of pizza followed by Sugary sodas. I've come a long way since those days. And I believe it's called Balance! Finding BALANCE in the midst of it all.
